Weir Cottage stands across the yard from the house, where the mill race used to run. It is a self-contained stone cottage with its own door, its own kitchen and a wood stove, for people who want the harbour without the house, or a family who wants to eat on their own clock.
In the cottage
A kitchen with a proper cooker and a table for four, a sitting room with the stove and a basket of logs, a double bedroom downstairs and a twin room under the roof. The bathroom is downstairs, with a shower. Dogs are welcome; the garden gate is kept shut.
Good to know
Breakfast at the house is included for two; the third and fourth guests are thirty euro a night each. There is a one-off cleaning charge of forty euro, which the quote shows. Minimum three nights, and a week at a time in summer. The cottage is step-free apart from the stair to the twin room.
