The Garden Room opens onto the walled garden through its own glazed door, so you can come and go without passing the hall. It is the room we recommend to anyone with a dog, anyone who walks early, and anyone who would rather not do stairs.
In the room
A double bed, a chair by the door, a small table outside under the pear tree, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The floor is stone with a rug, which the dogs seem to approve of. A water bowl and an old towel are left out for them.
Good to know
The room is step-free from the yard, where the two parking spaces are. The garden is shared with the house, and the gate to the lane is kept shut. Breakfast is at the big table, and dogs are welcome in the sitting room but not in the dining room while people are eating.
